1. Why do I want to do this program?
The Awaken to Joy program will help you to bring more joy and happiness into your life by creating awareness of what further negativity in your life and what creates more positive in your life. Using the tools provided you create small shifts in awareness that change habits and behaviors. These small shifts add up to big changes in how you view your world and how you show up in the world.

3. What do I get when I sign up?
CHAPTERS: First you will receive the Free starting chapter called "Focus and Awareness". This is a document you will download to read, answering the questions provided to determine your focus area. You then receive a chapter for each topic you sign up for. If you sign up for the year you receive one chapter per month. Each chapter has a short reading with thoughts and ideas on the topic. It also contains assignments to expand your learning. MODULE MORSEL E-NEWSLETTERS: During the topic month you will also receive weekly inspirational e-newsletters and Module Morsel e-newsletters that give you additional insights and help you to stay focused on the topic. (The links for the month's chapter is in the Module Morsel so be sure to read it!) BLOGS: Also called Web logs, have writings from Laura and Marya and other participants on our own personal progress in the program. We provide additional insights, links to related articles and more resources. You can also read comments from others or make your own comments on a particular posting.
4. What is a blog and what do I do with it? How do I make a comment?
Blogs, or web logs, are online journals. Marya and Laura have written posts on the blog and any participant in the program can make comments and participate in the discussions. At the bottom of each post is a line that says comment. Click your mouse on comment and a new screen comes up that has a box for writing your comment. All comments are read and moderated by Laura and Marya.
5. What do I do with the weekly inspirational and Module Morsel e-newsletters?
The inspirational e-newsletter contains a quote and a few brief comments. It is meant to remind you of the topic and help keep you inspired in your study. The Module Morsel e-newsletter takes a portion of the module and puts it into e-mail form. The focus is one section of the module plus one assignment. There are additional personal comments from Laura and Marya and often links to related articles or blog posts.
6. What is a Chapter and what do I do with it?
A Chapter is a downloadable PDF document that contains writing on each topic. It contains insights, thoughts, information and examples from others regarding the topic to give you a new understanding of how the topic affects your life. Each module is about 8-10 pages long and ends with questions and assignments for you to work on in order to create the awareness that helps change habits and behaviors.
7. How does this help me learn and grow?
What you put your attention on grows and you attract more of it. If you want more kindness, you need to practice kindness. If you want more love and compassion, you need to practice love and compassion. This program gives you the focus and attention on the topic and the changes you want to make. We give you tips and ideas to help you practice.
8. Do I have to start in January?
You can start the program at any time.
9. Do I sign up for 12 chapter or 1?
You can sign up for all 12 modules or just the Judgment Chapter. We highly recommend signing up for the whole year to get the maximum benefit from the program. You can sign up for the whole year at anytime.
