I have always been drawn to the teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. His kindness, compassion, and incredible love simply emanates from his being. Enjoy this list that he created at the change of the millenium. Choose one off the list and decide to fully embrace it.
Wayne Dyer is one of my greatest inspirations. In this short video he shares what I consider to be his most important message. May it inspire you to search more deeply into yourself!
I just realized I have been posting weekly Feel Good Moments for three years! In honor of this fabulous anniversary, here is one of my favorite videos from the past:
The one who challenges you most in life also needs your kindness the most...
I am not one for absolutes. Ask my students. I frequently say, "I would say 'always' to this, but there is 'always' an exception." Except here. This one is always true. The reason someone treats us poorly, does something unkind is always because their inner struggle is something we can't even imagine. AND in learning to be kind and compassionate to that person, you will grow in ways you can only imagine. (I know, I wrote a book about what I received from my greatest challenge.) I want you to take a moment to watch today's Feel Good Moment. It is POWERFUL for inspiring kindness. Watch it in its entirety, it is a bit over 5 minutes, I think, and well worth every moment.

"The words we say do matter and they resonate powerfully within our bodies.” ~ Gormukh Kaur Khalsa
Want an easy pick-me-up? Watch your words. Speak in a way that only builds. Our words are powerful. They effect how others feel in our presence, leaving a residue. They effect what we are able to attract in our life. They effect our physiology. Yes, that's right. Your cells are affected by the words we use. Just check out this video for your "proof" (if you needed it!) Be sure to watch this entire video. You can only appreciate its message by watching the whole thing. And then pay attention. Notice what you way and how you say it. Notice how it leaves you feeling.
So, one class I taught decided to create a list of words they liked. Here is the list they came up with: “Peace, love, joy, bliss, beauty, compassion, gratitude, beautiful, grace, yes, awesome, fabulous, inspire, believe, faith, trust, appreciate, welcome, enthusiasm, dream.” Any others?
