Yoga pose of the month: Let's study Trikonasana I (Triangle Pose) this month. Take this month to spend time in this pose, teach it to your students, and bring it into your practice. Here are some ideas for you to consider:
- Is your weight balanced between your feet? And is it balanced in each of your feet.
- Think of this pose as a heart opening. Does it change how you do it? What can you do to open the heart even more?
- How much weight do you place in your bottom hand?
- This pose is actually a twist. Play with how it feels to consciously twist through your belly as you do the pose.
