Has anyone told you?
YOU MATTER

Yes, you do -- just as you are. In fact, you matter deeply, just as you are.  You are part of the cosmic puzzle that makes up our world and your presence is an essential piece of that puzzle.  Therefore you are important to ALL of us. You are exactly who you need to be.  In fact, if you try to pretend you are someone different, you mess up the puzzle.  What you say matters.  How you feel matters.  You are loved, even when you don’t feel you are. BUT this week’s Feel Good Moment says it much better than I can!  Please watch this one.  We ALL need to feel special – because we are.

monday morning musing: it is time to let go

It is time to let go...

What do you need to release in order to fully move on with your life?  We often hold onto something so tenaciously, it keeps us from being able to grab onto something new. BUT “God can't give you anything new until you let go of the old.” (Hazelden) What is holding you back right now?  Another way of looking at that is why do you think you are not yet living the life of your dreams?  Somewhere in that reason is a belief about yourself that is keeping you from living more fully: “I am not good enough.”  “I don’t have enough money.”  “I am not likeable.”  “I can’t learn anything new.”  When I hear these phrases, I generally chime in with “blah, blah, blah”!  Seriously, let it go!  You are amazing, you are completely unique and YOU are capable of anything...don’t think so?  Check out next week’s mmm!

So, what are you doing to keep your mind open?  Is it open?  When was the last time you challenged your beliefs?  Did you even think that your beliefs can (or should) be challenged?  Beliefs are merely opinions -- and sometimes our opinions now longer serve us!  (You can read more about what I think about beliefs here...)  What are you doing to open your parachute?
