Never underestimate the power of even a little bit of kindness.
“Once you begin to acknowledge random acts of kindness - both the ones you have received and the ones you have given - you can no longer believe that what you do does not matter.”
~ Dawn Markova
“It is the little things.” We say it a lot, but do we live it? What I find more than anything is we discount the little things that we do or we don’t even do them because we feel they are too insignificant to matter. Yet, I remember when the “Random Acts of Kindness” book first came out years ago. I remember the tears that I felt stinging my eyes from the “feeling good” I had reading the stories. The book was filled with such little things...and yet they touched my heart profoundly. I have a friend who is going through an incredibly challenging time right now. She called me excitedly because the gentleman in the car in front of her in a drive-thru had paid her dinner bill. Her story made my heart surge and I felt inspired to write something on my Facebook page that received 8 comments of gratitude. Who knows what those 8 people then went on to do...hmmm...all from on gentleman who wanted to express a small act of kindness. I wonder what inspired him to his act of kindness...

Feel Good Moment
You are here!
My favorite place to practice (and receive) kindness is in rush hour traffic. It feels so much softer and peaceful to simply slow down and let someone in than it does to jockey for your position.
