You are more beautiful than you think.

This week's musing is being interrupted by an important message: You are more beautiful than you think.  Let me repeat:  You are more beautiful than you think.  I did interrupt my musing with this message.  I already had this week's written and then I saw the video I am using for the Feel Good Moment and realized I had a more important message to share.  This video had me in tears.

Know why I used the photo I did this week? I was amazed by it.  When my photographer sent it to me, I cried.  I thought it made me look so beautiful, that it couldn't be true.  But it is me.  My photographer does what she does because she loves to show women how beautiful and sexy they are and she is good.  Know why I love photos of me? Because I need the reminder, too.  Watch this week's Feel Good Moment and take it to heart.  You are more beautiful than you think.  Really.

Monday Morning Musing: An Inspirational Environment

 

M U S E  U P O N  T H I S

Do you surround yourself with things that inspire you?

Look around the room in which you spend most of your time.  How does the room leave you feeling? Calm and peaceful? Or chaotic and stressed?

Do you need to take anything away to feel better?  Reduce the clutter?  Get rid of anything that doesn't feel good.  Look at what is on the walls and the floor, too.  You might have pictures or art that doesn't feel good or a rug that is worn or doesn't fit the colors that resonate with you anymore.  What about the color of the walls? Does that feel good?

What can you do to add inspiration to the room?  What would feel good?  You don't need to make all the changes in one day so let yourself think big.  What do you really want for your space? New wall colors? Different furniture? Artwork? To get rid of half of what you own? :-)

Be sure that all that you have in your room has either a neutral or truly positive hold on you. If anything reminds you of a hard time in your life or of someone you no longer enjoy, get rid of it!

Monday Morning Musing and Feel Good Moment: Growing older with grace

Yeah, baby! That's what I am sayin'!

YES!  I LOVE this video!  I have watched this video for quite some time now as my own personal Feel Good Moment.  I have 2 centurian great-grandparents and all of my grandparents lived into their 90s.  I am going to be around a long time.  It's one of the reasons I began yoga oh so long ago -- to make sure my body lasts with me.  

BUT it's the attitude that really is the clincher.  The "go for broke" and "I am all that" attitude that makes the difference in life.  This energy exudes from this little lady.  She's my hero.

Regret, now there's a huge waste of energy.  If you are finding yourself wishing you had done something else with a "If only I had done...", stop it!  "Think now what am I going to do!" and know you are strong enough to do what you need to do...
