Only 15 Yoga Teachers
CEUs for 200- & 500-hour Registered Yoga Teachers
Enjoy deepening your knowledge of yoga, refining your teaching skills, joining a supportive yogic community and having time to yourself, all within the tranquility of the Mexican Riviera this fall. Immerse yourself in your practice for seven or fourteen glorious days. You will also have two free afternoons and a day between weeks to explore the countryside, spend time at the beach or have an adventure.
Our location has been lovingly chosen by Laura. She spent a week at this beautiful spot in March. The white sand beaches are just outside your cabana with the ocean a few steps away. The space has the feel of a lovely village with everything within close walking distance. At night, the space is lit with outdoor lamps and candles. You can see more photos on the Pinterest page.
"Laura's program inspired me to be true to myself, deepen my yoga practice and
define myself as a teacher. I constantly return to the inspirational notes
and tools to keep my teaching fresh, inspired and growing!" ~ Namaste, Denise

Summary of the retreat:
- How to study them more deeply for yourself. You will receive a workbook ahead of the retreat to spend some time studying a few poses in your own practice. What do they mean to you? How do they feel? What is challenging? What do you love? We will bring all the thoughts to discussion around the poses at the retreat and also look at how we can teach them more deeply. How can you adjust the pose for your student to convey different messages?
- We will also study advanced poses. Laura will guide you in a practice around a few advanced yoga poses, learning how to break them down so you can learn them yourself and teach them. (You have an opportunity to choose the poses you are interested in learning.)
Pranayama/Breathing ~ We will begin each day with a Pranayama practice, beginning with finding a relaxing, natural breath and then moving to more challenging pranayamic practices.
Meditation ~ We will follow every Pranayama practice with a meditation, practicing a variety of techniques throughout the retreat so you can experiment with your own practice.
Yogic Anatomy ~ Laura's specialty is anatomy, specifically applied anatomy. Let's use what we know about anatomy to deepen our own experience of yoga and then take our students to a deeper place as well.
Yoga Philosophy ~ Let's study ourselves through the fabulous precepts of yoga. We will be studying a few of the Sutras and a more in-depth self-study through the niyamas.
Chakras ~ Let's look at the chakras, in particular how they effect us and the decisions we need to make. How can we get as clear and clean as possible when dealing with our students?
Business Coaching ~ One of Laura's specialties. Run your yoga business as a business. For each of the weeks we will be evaluating your business practices, figuring out a path for your business, and discussing ways to make more money teaching yoga without adding classes to your week.
